Dr.K.Unnikrishna Pillai son of vaidya kalanidhi K.N kesava pillai is the present chariotter of Amruthanjali Ayurvedics. He is a renowned scholar in the field of Ayurveda. Academically he marked his excellence right from the schooling. After his schooling he himself chose to be the future driving force of this rich tradition in Ayurveda and did his graduation from Government Ayurveda college ,Thiruvananthapuram. He showed his excellence in graduation level itself and has bagged gold medals in many subjects.

After graduation he attained first rank in all india P.G entrance and acquired his P.G seat in Gujarat ayurveda university , Jamnagar.He did his MD(Ay) in Rasasastra and Bhaishajya kalpana and Also did his PhD from the same institution. As he was too much interested into academics he began his career as lecturer. He was one among the first lectures at the establishment of national institute of ayurveda jaipur and remained there as lecturer for 4 years then he continued his career at Gujarat Ayurveda college for 11 years. He has guided numerous P.G and PhD works and presented papers and taken classes at many platforms. But then the time arrived when his father wanted to hand over the baton of a valuable tradition in to his able hands, with no hesitation he resigned the central government job and took up the responsibility of Amruthanjali vaidyasala. His confidence and energy resulted in opening up a new venture in the heart of kollam city Amruthanjali Ayurveda hospital, Kankathmukku kollam in 1990. The hospital has IP(inpatient) facilities and Panchakarma theatre rooms for specialized treatments. It has gained the belief and good will of the people within a very short duration with his strenuous effort. Dr.Vishnu. U. Pillai is the third generation of this rich tradition. He was fortunate enough to be a part of this wholesome tradition from his childhood and has gained his confidence from both his grandfather and father. After his schooling he did his graduation BAMS from one of the Prestigious institution ,the Amrita School Of ayurveda ,kollam. And did his post graduation in panchakarma from equally credible institution SDM college of Ayurveda. He proved his Academic excellence in both the graduations.

Qualification : BAMS, MD(Ay). He is a renowned scholar in field of ayurveda and has a rich clinical experience. Credentials : Published articles in International Ayurvedic Medical journals on Role of vamana in Tamaka Swasa. Published article in national journals Presented papers in World Ayurveda Congress Presented Papers in many national and international seminars. He is freemason at Lodge Vanchinad ,kollam.
